The inspiration and letters on the curtains came from my mother’s pregnancy journal which she kept during her pregnancy. The installment of the curtains was designed to create a corridor effect, like a birth canal, that people can pass through to prepare to experience the other works in my portfolio.

The translucent fabric I chose allowed viewers to feel and touch the piece while walking through it, so they could actively engage with the piece.

This gigantic installment focuses on the unique journey of birth and encourages engagers to relive their personal experiences and emotions.
