With the rapid urbanization in Istanbul, the buildings and their interiors become increasingly compact, resulting in people feeling trapped. I portrayed the knitting needles as gigantic and monumental, and the knitted cardigan as tiny. This cardigan was knitted by my grandma, which was the first piece of clothing I owned because I couldn’t fit in the standard sizing.
